Culturally rooted. Craft obsessed. Built to be remembered.
HFX Guild Studios is a Texas-based creative production and fabrication studio founded by Cristopher Garza — a builder, sculptor, strategist, and cultural entrepreneur whose work is grounded in a single conviction: that representation is not an afterthought. It is the whole point.
The studio operates at the intersection of hands-on craft and narrative depth. From complex silicone character builds and large-scale prop fabrication to original IP development and live haunted attraction production, every project carries the same DNA — technically rigorous, culturally intentional, and built to endure.
HFX Guild is the creative engine behind Cucuy Nights, a culturally rooted haunted attraction brand drawing from indigenous and Latino mythology, and the developing home of Legend of the Four, an original multi-generational horror narrative. The studio presents annually at Texas Haunters Convention and is expanding its commission work across the haunt and entertainment industry.
"We are not adding diversity to an existing format. We are building the original."
Every project carries something worth knowing. Whether through the mythology embedded in a character design or the craftsmanship visible in a finished prop, HFX Guild creates work that teaches — about culture, about history, about what is possible when you build with intention.
The bar for culturally rooted entertainment has been set low for too long. The studio exists to raise it — through original IP, technically excellent fabrication, and stories with the narrative depth to compound in value over time rather than expire after a season.
Representation on screen and on the haunt floor changes what the next generation believes is possible for them. HFX Guild builds spaces — physical and narrative — where Latino and indigenous culture is not a guest in someone else's story. It is the whole story.
HFX Guild offers commission work for haunt operators, entertainment venues, film productions, and special events. Every engagement is treated as a creative collaboration — not a transaction.
Original character builds and signature props using professional-grade materials and techniques refined across lifecasting, subtractive foam carving, epoxy clay work, and silicone casting.

The studio develops original culturally rooted characters, narratives, and worlds with protectable IP value — built for the haunt industry today and the entertainment industry tomorrow.
Broader creative production support for events, installations, and entertainment concepts that require a partner who understands both the technical and the cultural dimensions of the work.
